Curtis graduated from Fredericksburg High School and served in the US Air Force Reserve and honorably discharged March of 1971. He was married to Mary Katherine Coffman on December 19 1965.
Curtis had a career in aerospace manufacturing for a combined 37 years for LTV and Lockheed Martin retiring in 2009. He had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping, gardening. He was survived by wife ,Kathy, son Michael both of Arlington, Texas.
Curtis is preceded in death by his son Ryan Curtis Klier and his two brothers Ralph Klier and Wilburn Klier.
He leaves to cherish his memories his brother Gary Klier of Fredericksburg, Texas and Sisters Janet Jung, and Karen Klier both of Fredericksburg, Texas
