Daniel was born on January 6, 1981, in Appleton, WI to David Kuciauskas and Diana Abel. He is preceded in death by his father David Kuciauskas, his brother Joshua and his beloved grandmother Elaine Abel whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife Desorahy Abel, son Wyatt Abel and daughter Parker Abel, the loves of his life; his mother Diana, stepdad Larry Dailey as well as several brothers, sisters including: Tiffany, Melissa, Jenna, Elizabeth, Andrew, William, and Travis. He is also survived by his grandfather Phillip Abel, who always held a special place in his heart throughout his entire life and was known as "Daniel's Hero". Daniel also had countless life long friends that he shared his life with that he held so dearly to his heart.
Daniel worked as a building engineer for several companies handling the various aspects of electrical and mechanical systems within a facility. He was employed as a Lead Building Engineer with Newmark for approximately 5 to 6 years prior to joining Verizon Wireless. Daniel worked as an Engineer Specialist for Verizon Wireless at the Southlake facility where he was always seeking growth opportunities within the company and being the best he could be. Daniel was a hard worker and always willing to help others along the way; assisting them to excel and succeed. When it came to providing for his family, Daniel always made sure that their needs were taken care of, this was a major priority for him.
Daniel’s personality was different than most, in a positive way. He loved people so dearly they couldn’t possibly be strangers for too long. If you crossed paths with him you would begin to know his laughter, jokes, and his smiles were so infectious it lit up the room.
Daniel had a range of hobbies that interested him and kept him busy. Some of those include four wheeling, shooting pool, grilling a great brisket, and more importantly learning about firearms. He was so interested in the various guns and everything about them. He enjoyed tearing them down and rebuilding them, and discovering the history behind them. He also enjoyed collecting them. As we all know, if you knew Daniel it was not long before the conversation would turn to the subject of his gun collection. He would have made one awesome gunsmith! Daniel played hard and fought even harder through his illness, being Abel Strong. During this hard battle, Daniel also wanted to remind his loved ones to live fully each day and to strive to be a better version of yourself day in and day out because tomorrow is not promised.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.moore-funeralhome.com for the Abel family.
