Daniel was born Nov. 23, 1987, in Arlington to Clifford and Gail Curtis. He graduated from high school in Salt Lake City, Utah, and attended college there while working as a leader with Second Nature, a nature program for troubled youth. Recently he had been residing with his grandmother, Joyce Curtis, in Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandfather, Wiley Curtis Sr.; and a grandmother, Gail Baker.
Survivors: Brother, Kyle of Madison, Wis.; loving grandmother, Joyce Curtis of Fort Worth; grandfather, Ralph Baker of Houston; uncles, Wiley Curtis and wife, Jennifer, of Arlington, Chris Curtis and wife, Nicole, of Flower Mound; aunt, Joyce Baker of Boise, Idaho; and cousins.
