Arthur Blanton officiating. Darlene passed away May 29, 2012 in Arlington, TX. She was born May 14, 1947 to father Darrell Thompson (deceased) and Mayme Hayek and Step-father William (Bill) Hayek in Erlanger, KY. Darlene married Gary Blanton on April 1, 1983 in Clarksville, TN. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Gary of Arlington, son Gary Blanton Jr. of Haltom City, daughters LaDonna Braham and her husband Douglas of Arlington, Deanna Burton and her husband Jonathan of Arlington, brothers Joe Thompson and wife Jean of Elsmere, KY, Darrell Thompson and wife Dottie of Dayton, KY, Billy Hayek and wife Alanna of Tro,y OH, Bobby Hayek of Lakeside Park KY, sister Angela Malone and husband Doug of Burlington, KY, grandchildren Ashley Schmitzer, Gregory Littrell, Dawson Braham and Austin Braham, and great-grandchildren Kyli Schmitzer and Karsin Murphy, and a host of nieces, nephews and in-laws that were all the center of her universe. Darlene is preceded in death by Sisters Nancy Davis-Pruitt and Juanita Banks.
