David Andrews

David Clark Andrews, 73 years old of Arlington, TX passed away the night of May 12, 2022. He was born in Beaumont, TX on November 28, 1948. David graduated from Lamar University many years ago with an degree in Management. He was married to Virgeania Andrews on December 31, 2002 in Port Arthur, TX with whom he had stepchildren. David enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He returned to work for Total Petrochemicals for 41 years before retiring as Supervisor of Lab and Maintenance there. He was a volunteer to stay behind during hurricanes to help shut down the plant for several years. David loved just about anything that had to do with the beach. He boated, fished, crabbed, swam and snorkeled on just about every trip outside of Texas. He loved be active so he played baseball until he was in his 50s. Travelling was another passion of his. David was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladys Andrews (Creasy), his brothers, Robert and Clifton Andrews, and sister, Doris Harris. He is survived by his sister JoAnn, David Jr., and Jalani Andrews, as well as many grandchildren. David leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Virgeania, his children, Nicole (Leon) Mitchell, Tisa (Andra) McNac Sr., Regina (Ronald) Newman, Danielle (Mark) Castle, and Bobby Hayes, a host of grandchildren, family, and friends. A visitation for David will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
