David Harris

"The Harris family announces with deep regrets, the sudden death of their beloved father and brother, Mr. David Francis Harris, commonly known as Mack Harris. This sad event occurred on Friday, September 7, 2012 at his home in Grand Prairie, Texas, United States of America.

Mack was an active and strong man. Despite his disability, he attended church weekly at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. He regularly attended his weekly Toastmasters club where he was a well known speaker and Sergeant at Arms. He was an avid member of the gym where he worked out daily. He spent his time exploring different business interests setting up an import and export business and looking for new and exciting hobbies and pleasures. He enjoyed traveling the world and made frequent trips to Brazil. He made friends wherever he was. He was an inspiration to everyone he met. He will be truly missed

Mack is survived by his son Mack Robert Harris, his daughter Lady Estelle Gertrude Harris, his ex-wife Roslyn G. Harris, his brother Aaron Theophilus Harris, his sisters Maria-Carmelita and Precious Alma Harris; Aunties: Leila Myrna Saab and Jacqueline Nato Greenfield-Collins; Uncles: Joseph A. Greenfield, Kermit A. Greenfield and Narven Greenfield; Neices: Lady Bue Onike Harris, Aaronette Cetekon Harris, Shirlita Harris, Rondel-Joy Harris and Dekontee Denise Jackson; Nephews: Carl Ivor Coleman and Richu Bozie Harris, and a host of other relatives in Liberia and the United States. He was predeceased by his parents Philemon Ezekiel and Estelle Alma Harris, and his younger brother Philemon Timothy Harris (Brother Boy).
