David Edward Marsh Jr.

He served 20 years in the United States Air Force. After his military service, David worked as a mail carrier in Cleburne, TX for over 15 years.

In 1958, David married Susanne Mann. Together they raised two children and built a life rooted in steady devotion and care for family. While raising their family, David and Susie lived in Whitney, TX and after their sons were grown, they resided in Crockett, TX and Streetman, TX before ending up in Pantego, TX.

David also gave his time through the Texas Baptist Men, helping build churches across the state of Texas—work that reflected a practical spirit of service and a commitment to community.

David was preceded in death by his father, David E. Marsh Sr.; his mother, Elva Marsh; his wife, Susanne Marsh; and his sister, Jerrie Walker.

He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Timm of Granbury, Texas; his brother, James E. Marsh of Cheney, Washington; his sons, David E. Marsh III (Kim) of Brownsboro, Texas, and Shelby Marsh (Tina) of Hurst, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kendra, Amanda, Bradley, and Melissa; and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, funeral service to follow.

A private interment will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery - 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211
