Deborah Jean Kring

Deborah Jean Kring, 75, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 6, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Born November 2, 1950, in Elwood, Indiana, Deborah later made her home in Arlington, Texas.

Raised in Rockford, Michigan, Deborah carried forward a steady resolve and a determined spirit throughout her life. She was known for her strong will, yet just as memorable for the way she could brighten a room—bringing warmth, laughter, and an easy sense of togetherness wherever family and friends gathered.

Deborah devoted herself to her home and family as a housewife, giving her days to the work of caring, supporting, and showing up in the ways that mattered most. Her generosity was constant and sincere, and she was always willing to help someone in need—offering time, effort, and kindness without hesitation.

On December 21, 2002, Deborah married James Kring, and together they built a blended family of five. In the years that followed, her love for family remained at the center of her life, reflected in the time she treasured with those closest to her.

Deborah found joy in travel, gardening, cooking, and good food shared with others. She also delighted in shopping on Temu, and in the simple pleasures of everyday life—especially when those moments were spent with family.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Robert Shier; her mother, Marge Shier; her sister, Audrey; her brother, Jeff; and her daughter, Gretchen Foster.

She is survived by her husband, James Kring; her son, Jerry Foster (Shawn); her daughter Emmilee Barr; her stepdaughters Gina, Patricia, and Christina, her grandchildren, Kristopher Foster, Vanessa Foster, Andrew Foster, Dana Foster, Zachary Kelly, Nathan Barr; her step-grandchildren Mako, Allie, and Brandon, her great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Brianna, Grayson, Baylin, Sebastian, Ezra, and Willow; her sisters, Connie, Joni, and Alicia; and her brothers, Bob, Adam, Jackie, and Joe.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012, on September 25, 2026, at 4:00 pm.
