My name is Shirley, and I helped Q at the laundromat to keep the property clean. He was kind, generous and sweet man all around and I shall miss him. I was heartbroken to find out about his passing and I send my sincere condolences to your family. He will be dearly missed by those who were lucky enough to know him and I send warm thoughts and prayers for you, his family. May God grant you peace and healing in this time of grief. I met Q three years ago at his laundromat. I was always there before he arrived to open the place in the morning. We talked about all he had done to remodel the place and all he had to do to maintain the place day to day, which was not fun. DeQuan, knowing good character when he sees it, asked me to partner up with him because he needed some help in his corner with the laundromat. Uncertainty in my life required that I decline the business offer. Today I regret that decision because he loved his business and I could help carry his legacy forward instead of it just sitting there closed for the last 2 weeks. Q will always be in my thoughts and prayers!

I knew DeQuan as just Q.He always had a AWESOME SMILE and a good spirit about himself.When I had the ggood fortune to meet Q at the laundromat he owned(right next to the house where my youngest daughter was born in 1990),he was friendly and always had such a encouraging and caring manner about himself, that a person could tell he was one of GOD'S Children here on earth.Going to really miss your friendly smile and "How are you doing today?".Rest In Peace, DeQuan cause you will be greatly and sorely missed by me and everybody who knew you.---Marie Aasted, July 22,2019.

Thank you for all the memories that will last a lifetime. Your wisdom, your guidance all help shaped me into the woman I am today. I am thankful God allowed me to share the past 3 years with you. You are beautiful inside and out. It is difficult knowing you're not here with us but you're in Paradise now. Remy and I miss you very much and I promise to love and care for her like you have. Quan, you've taught me so much about life and thank you for allowing me to experience the world with you. Until we met again, I will never forget about you and I will always love you. You hold a special place in my heart forever. 

-Q your words and advice will always be constant light for me bro.....good times and bad times....8 years ...8 great years of knowing you, I watched you stand by your beliefs and as a man and friend you recognized potential in people and forced them to exercise that....you told me once “don’t quit bro...you know George Clooney didn’t hit big until 32...KEEP GOING” you constantly thanked the powers to be for your life and everyone in it....SUCH A GRATEFUL BROTHER....I love you man..... when I see you again I swear I’ll have stories.....

Rest easy but stay by us all....
