Diane was born on May 30, 1944 in Homestead, PA to Stephen Joseph Shupik and Elsie May (Molnar) Shupik. She graduated from Munhall High School (PA) and Slippery Rock University. Diane married David Allan Day on Aug. 16, 1969. She taught at Amos and Short Elementary Schools in Arlington, and also taught in Odessa, TX and Pittsburg, PA. Diane was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
