Dixie Ann Sims Perrine, of Mansfield, TX, went peacefully to meet the Lord on June 9, 2019. Dixie was born to Zack Taylor Shaw and Vallie Ann Covington on September 2, 1936. She was preceded in death by her late husband Jack Sims, brother Sammy Shaw, sister Patsy Shaw and son, Jimmy Sims. Dixie was a member of Sublett Road Baptist Church.

Dixie is survived by husband Jack Perrine, children - Tony Sims and wife Terri, Jesse Sims and wife Cindy, John Sims and wife Kim; grandchildren - Cammye, Chase, Brian, Mindy, Lacie, Ashley, Cody, Jennifer and Jeff; great-grandchildren - Grace, Kayla, Hannah, Caroline, Wrenley, Kinsley, Hudson, Greyson, Caleb, Noah, Anna, Zoe, Joseph, Keirnan, Chloe, Andrew, Samuel and Jack; a daughter-in-law Taeko of Japan, and brother Leonard Shaw and wife Sandra.

Funeral Services will be held at Moore Memorial Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas on June 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a Graveside Service to immediately follow at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held June 13, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Pallbearers are Chase Sims, Brian Sims, TJ Payne, Jonathan Cooksey, Cody Sims and Clay Postert.

Dixie was such a fine, classy lady. I immediately felt connected with her, when we met at church. Each time I went through a loss or trial of any kind, she had Spiritual words of wisdom for me. I will miss this precious friend, but know our friendship will continue when the Lord takes me home!
