Dolores Schneider Wachter

Memorial service: 12 p.m. Friday at St. Maria Goretti's Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76013, in the Cremation Garden.

Dolores was born June 17, 1934 in New Braunfels to Lucas and Nora King. She graduated from New Braunfels High School, Home of the Fighting Unicorns.

Dolores enjoyed doing arts and crafts, cooking and baking. She won Blue Ribbons at the State Fair of Texas and the Comal County Fair for many of her baked goods. She often loved baking cookies and cakes for others to show her love and put a smile on someone's face. She would often go without to help others. She was also a very active and dedicated member of St. Maria Goretti's Catholic Church. She helped the church in any way she could, whether it be baking for a bake sale or organizing craft fairs.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marshal King; and husbands, John Schneider, George Stemelski, and William Wachter.

Survivors: children, John G. Schneider and wife, Rebecca, Sharon England, and Gregory Schneider and wife, Sandra; and grandchildren, John Gregory Schneider and Sarah Schneider.
