Donald Jones, Sr. Known as (Don) was born April 21, 1956 to Dwayne Toston and Barbara Jean Toston in Fort Worth, Texas.
Don grew up in Fort Worth, Texas where he attended and graduated from I.M. Terrell High School, in Fort Worth Independent School District. In High School, he played baseball.
He later moved to Arlington, Texas where he met and married Evelyn J. Jones, to this union was born Donald Jones, Jr., Shanta Jones, Donta Jones and Brandon Jones.
Donald worked in maintenance for 41 years. He worked as lead maintenance for Trinity Park Apartments for forty-one years as his last place of employment.
Don’s true love was for his family. He was a hard worker who was a great provider for his family. He loved watching football and basketball. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Don passed away on December 18, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his wife and children.
He was preceded in death by his father Dewayne Toston, his mother Barbara Toston, his twin brother Ronald Jones and his sister Patricia Allen-Franklin.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn J. Jones; his children Donald, Shanta, Donta and Brandon Jones. His grandchildren Dacion, Cari, and Simone. His siblings Jerald W. Jones, James L. Allen, Jr. and Michael Allen. Numerous nieces and nephews and many family and friends that loved him.
