Donna and Walt were our wonderful neighbors for so many years. When our son Phillip was born, they were so excited and supportive of us.
They would always go the extra mile to make sure you were ok. We had many long talks sitting in the living room, or at the dinning room table. Donnas smile always radiated love and joy for the people around her. Through Walt and Donna we got to know Kim and Kathy there wonderful daughters. May you be given Gods peace and grace during this time. Nancy K.

Mrs. Shearer was one of our Alpha Phi Moms. As s sorority, we always seemed to travel in packs, so when we alighted on someone's home, the resident Mom would always take care of us. Mrs.Shearer was no exception. She treated us as her own. Love to you on your heavenly journey.

Donna was my dearest and closest friend since we met in seventh grade in Pueblo, Colorado.
During the years we met Donna and Walt for two trips to Europe, a week at Branson, Mo. and high school reunions in Pueblo each year. We also attended the University of Colorado together.
We send our sympathy to Kathy and Kim and their families. It was such sadness to hear we had lost Donna.

We always enjoyed visiting with Donna at NWUMC. She was such a joy and was always smiling. A number of years ago she wanted to bring dinner to us because Jim had had surgery. She brought a 9x12 casserole dish full of a delicious meal. She delivered it to the wrong house on the street over from us. It took awhile for us to find it. She fed us for a week! What a priviledge to have known her. Thank you for sharing her with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Hugs.

The Shearers lived across the street from us in Arlington. I have lovely memories of going over there. I often thought of them and am so saddened to hear of Mrs. Shearer’s passing. Rest In Peace
