Doreen enjoyed the simple joys of life—gardening, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved all colors and found beauty in everything around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Gay and Edith Gay; her husband, Junior Leon Romines; her children Mary Katherine Roselee Romines, Donnie Ray Romines, and Darrell Lynn Romines; her brothers Henry Douglas (H.D.) Gay, Troy Gay, Lloyd Gay, Lyman Gay, and Alvin Gay; and her sister Ella May Thomason and Lorene Clestin Ballard.
Doreen is survived by her children Delanna Doreen Holland, David Kyle Romines, and Bobby Dale Romines; her stepchildren Gary Romines and Kenneth Jean Ratcliff; Her sister Willa Faye Burton; her brother Roy Lee Gay; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Doreen will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her warmth, love, and presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
