

Dorothy A. Gray, 106, of Dallas, Texas passed away on December 31, 2024. Dorothy was born on the first day of October in 1918 in Bertram, Texas. She was the second oldest child of Hester Hyburnia Turner and Amram Wilkinson. Her brother, Garrett was the oldest and they had 2 younger sisters, Amy and Billy Jo.
Shortly after graduating from High School, Dorothy and Elmer Owen Bullard were joined in marriage. To this union there were three children, Charles, Linda and Gary.
Religion played an important part throughout her life. She was born and raised Baptist and was proud to raise her children with the same values. She was very active in church activities. She taught Sunday School, sung in the choir and volunteered with many other groups.
Dorothy loved sewing, gardening, crafting and jewelry making. Among her many other passions were traveling, her cats and doll collecting.
She is survived by her son, Gary and her sisters, Amy and Billy Jo, with many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
We
Dorothy will be truly missed by many relatives and friends, cherishing all the good memories shared with her. She will always be remembered for the loving spirit and kindness she showed to everyone around her.
Funeral services for Dorothy W. Gray are scheduled on Tuesday January 14, 2025. Visitation starting at 10:00 AM and Funeral service starting at 11:00 AM. Both services will be held at Moore Funeral Home - 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Burial to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
