Dorothy A. Redden

Dorothy (Dotty) Adele Redden, 79, left this earthly home on December 20, 2023 in Arlington, Texas. She was born December 28, 1943 in Arlington, Texas to Sara Jewel and Gilbert Mann. Dotty was raised in Arlington where she attended and graduated from Arlington High School in 1962. She met the love her life Rex Redden and they were married in 1965 and they had three beautiful daughters. Dotty was an administrative ticket clerk at Six Flags Over Texas where she worked for 35 years before retiring. In her free time, Dotty enjoyed reading and shopping; her true love and joy was time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a hardworking, very loving, and Godly woman.

Dotty is preceded in death by her parents, Sara and Gilbert Mann; brothers, Robert Mann and Richard Mann; sister, Chloe Sciba.

Left to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 58 years Rex Redden; daughters, Robin Fuller, Rachel Cook and husband Tyler, Ronni Bracken and husband Brian; grandchildren, Logan Cook, Mia Ipock, Logan Brossett, Tristan Brossett, Beau Bracken, and Keira Cook; sister, Susie Marsh; brother, Phillip Mann; along with numerous friends.

She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers the family asked for donations in Dotty’s name to your choice for Breast Cancer Research

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at North Davis Church of Christ, 1601 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1601 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S Mary St, Arlington, TX 76010.
