Dorothy Sloan, 97, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on May 28, 2022.
Dorothy was born in Humphrey, Arkansas on January 4, 1925. On September 28, 1941, she married Harvey Sloan (deceased). Dorothy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas and had a passion for her family.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Sylvester Sloan of Arlington, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great and great- great nieces and nephews; and her brother, David McCarty of Humphrey, Arkansas.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Parkdale Cemetery, 701 Mary Street, Arlington, Texas 76010.
