Myron "Doug" Bass, 70, of North Richland Hill, TX passed peacefully away the morning of June 25, 2024 in Dallas, TX. Doug was born June 3, 1954 in Dallas to Orville and Mary Ann Bass. Doug became a United States Marine in 1972 serving in Vietnam. After the Marines he became a Law Enforcement Officer for Frisco P.D., Farmers Branch P.D., a Constable for Dallas, County. He also became a Private Security Officer.
Doug is survived by his wife Shannon of North Richland Hills; One brother Tom of Guthrie, Ok.; Son Cameron of Plano; daughter, Kendall of Farmers Branch; 3 step daughters, Torey Sartain of Paris, TX, Kay'Cee Buckley of Latch, Tx, Kas'Cee Langford of Winnsboro, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
A committal service with Marine Funeral Honors, will take place on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
