

Eduardo “Eddie” Berumen, of Grand Prairie, Texas was born on May 18, 1940, and passed into the loving arms of the Lord on May 11, 2016. He was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas to Ubaldo and Abigail Berumen. He was a Highway Patrol Officer in Mexico City from 1966-1972. He also was a two-time cancer survivor and a walking miracle, as he was given 6 months to live at the age of 33. Since then, he has dealt with the repercussions of radiation treatment with strength and courage through his great faith. He was a strong role model for his 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all, especially his sweetheart of 50 years, his beloved wife and companion, his strength, and his heart, Ann “Nancy” Berumen. He is survived by his wife Nancy, his daughters Lisa Mueller and family, Patricia Berumen and family, Debora Ellis and family, and by his son Edward Berumen and family, and by his sisters Delia, Alicia, Mari, Lily and Carmen, as well as countless other family members and loved ones. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home located at 1219 North Davis Dr. Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday May 20th, 2016, at 10 a.m. with the Rosary immediately beforehand at 9:30 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, TX 76013 located at 1200 S. Davis Drive. Memorial gifts can be made in Eduardo's name, to St. Maria Goretti's Food Pantry/Baby's World.
