Eileen Marie Baltitas Jex was born on January 17, 1944 to John and Mary Baltitas in Cleveland, Ohio. She married the love of her life, John N. Jex in 1969. John worked for AAFES for several decades and because of his job they lived in several different places over the course of their marriage. When they were stationed overseas Eileen volunteered for the Red Cross which she enjoyed very much. After they moved back to the states she was a very active member of St.
Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church. She was in the Women's Guild for several decades, sang in the choir and helped at daily mass. Eileen also volunteered for several years at Duncanville Outreach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and brother, Robert Baltitas. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Chris), her five granddaughters Cynthia (Brandon), Johanna (Joey), Amanda, Sabrina and Emma, and five great grandchildren.
