Elizabeth Jean Snowden

13, 1932 to Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Seward Sr. Betty was proud to say that she was an Army

brat, as her father served in WWII, and was stationed at various Army bases across the

country. She graduated Marblehead High School in Massachusetts, after which she

attended nursing school in Orange, NJ, where she received her RN degree. After

graduation, she and her family moved to Dallas where she began her career as a

Pediatric Nurse at Baylor Dallas where she met her future husband.

Betty enjoyed being social in general but especially loved her kids and grands, loved

animals, and later found she really enjoyed BSF studies, being strongly convicted in her

faith. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home wife and mother, taking care of her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs Ralph Seward, Sr, her husband

Dr. Jack B. Snowden, DDS, and her oldest brother Ralph Seward, Jr. She is survived

by her youngest brother William Seward and his wife Vickie of Katy, TX, her oldest son

John S. Snowden of Arlington, TX, daughter Mary Anne Perry of Livermore, CA,

youngest son Allen Snowden and wife Sandy from Justin, TX. She is also survived by 3

grand children, 6 great-grand children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
