It is with the greatest sadness I receive the news of the passing of one of my childhood friends, Sue  Walti  nee Vickers.
Sue and I and my wife Betty grew up in the tiny Welsh village of Mochdre in North Wales.
The post war years in this tight-knit community was heaven personified and we all enjoyed the freedom to enjoy and roam the beautiful countryside in safety.
When I was drafted into the army to carry out National Service, Sue was a mong those who wrote and kept me sane.
In later years she would accompany me to various shows in Llandudno where, as a local journalist,  I had to write crits of the performances. She was great company.
Her marriage to Heinz brought her the greatest joy and happiness and I was most happy to meet them on one occasion.
Following her move to Texas she kept in regular touch and we shared news of both our families.
All her friends in Wales I know will join with me in extending our  most sincere condolences to her family.

Fred and I are sad to learn of Susan's passing.  Susan and I met as
newcomers to Arlington, Texas.  We both enjoyed meeting those who loved to sew and get together to discuss our thoughts and
interests.    Susan was  a dear friend to many and a great
Mom.    She will be sorely missed.  Our  thoughts and prayers go to her family.

We will all miss Aunt Susan. While we didn’t live nearby, we still had some really fun outings, whether at Brenda’s house in Newburyport, trips out to Star Island, the lovely wedding at Laguna beach, and the visit to see the Queen Mary ship docked in Long Beach. It is with great sadness we have lost our dear friend Susan.

Words cannot express how sad we are to have lost our dear friend Susan. She was such a generous  person who always gave her best  in  any number of ways to so many. Susan showed such courage and determination fighting her health issues these past two years, so though we hate to loose such a lovely person, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with her beloved Heinz. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to her family at this difficult time, you all did so much to help her on her difficult journey Sent with love, Sue and Tony Rowley.
