She was holding the hand of Arthur (Art) Ellington, her loving husband of almost 70 years and was surrounded by loved ones.

Faye is lovingly remembered by her husband Art, her children, Jan Hollingsworth and her husband Mike of Azle, Texas; Connie Criswell and her husband Ron of Grapevine, Texas; Linda DiFede and her husband John of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; Dana Romero and her husband Gene of Glorieta, New Mexico; and Rick Ellington and his wife Mitzi of Midlothian, Texas; along with grandchildren Damon Criswell, Bryan Hollingsworth, Lesli Bailey, Wendy Garner, William Harding, Alina Schrom, Nathan Ellington and Trevor Ellington, as well as great-grandchildren Abigail, John Michael, Bridget, Houston, Londyn, Layne, Georgia, Lyla, Alexis and Keesin.
Faye was a hard worker, always focused on providing for her family. She held many jobs, as a jingle writer, a candy maker, a beautician and even an aircraft builder. But she always considered her first job to be raising her children.
The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care that Faye received at Mansfield Methodist Hospital, and particularly nurses Teresa Kerr and Jessica Melvey, as well as the services of Heart to Heart Hospice and nurses from Compassionate Care Services – Rene, Barbara, Karen, Melissa, Laura, and most especially Darlene Dickerson. Each of these ladies showed so much compassion and tenderness to help Faye in her transition to peace.
The funeral service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis, Arlington, Texas on May 23 at 12:30 p.m. with Chaplain Alastair Howie officiating. Interment to follow at Moore Memorial Garden immediately following.
