Emma Lazelle Isbon

Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 301 S. Center St., Arlington. Interment: 3 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery, Stoneburg. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington 76012.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, 301 S. Center St., Arlington, Texas 76010.

Lazelle was born in Henrietta to Charlie L. Johnson and Rosa Sharon Williford on Nov. 19, 1923. Her family moved to Stoneburg where she graduated from Stoneburg High School. She also attended Stoneburg Baptist Church where she received Christ as her Savior and was baptized.

She married her husband, John Isbon, in December 1952. They moved to Arlington where their two sons, Charles and David, were born. Lazelle was employed at Montgomery Ward for about 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Arlington.

Lazelle loved family and visiting together. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors: Husband, John Isbon; sons, David Isbon and wife, Diana, and Charles Isbon and wife, Renita; grandchildren, Brad Isbon and Mary Isbon; brothers, Joe Johnson and wife, Luella, and Jim Johnson and wife, Bettie; several nieces and nephews; and extended family.
