Wow, stunned!
You were my wife's pastor when we met.

We walked together for years. Did deliverance together. Preached together. Raised families together. Laughed together, Cried together. Prayed together. Yes, we ate together too!

Now you beat me home.
You will be missed.

To Elaine, John, Steven, Joanna, Destiny, and the rest of the family:
You have our love, prayers, and support.

In Him,
JMb <><

My heart hurts for you the same way it did when I watched my best friend take her last breath. You and Sister Sargent welcomed me in as one of the many others who were blessed enough to be under your family/ministry. When I got out of the Navy, you were the one who gave me an example of what a loving, praying, strong marriage and relationship looked like and I credit you guys to this day! My prayers to Sister Sargent because I don’t know what I would do if I lost my husband today. Prayers to Destiny and Joanna because I was a daddy’s girl and miss him every day! And prayers to John and Stephen because you are amazing young men with big shoes to fill! You were truly blessed to have parents who prayed for and with you! I thought about him often because of the strength I have to stand and the prayer warrior he always encouraged me to be! Rest well, Pastor! Rest well!💝

My Pastor, my mentor, and my friend has gained his wings. A True Man of God, I was ordained in his ministry. This one hurts, he was truly instrumental in my development as a Pastor and as a man.
Rest well, Pastor Ernest Sargent
