Dearest cousin Meldie I will always remember you. Many times we got together at Grandmas house, talked, our kids played together those were good times. Now you're in Heaven with Grandma and not suffering any more, may you finally be at peace.
To Priscilla, Ricky, Nina, and Ruben:
It saddens my heart to hear of your Moms passing. I would like to share with you some memories. Many times your Mom would stop by Grandma's we'd talk and she'd tell us her dreams and hopes for you all as a family and individual. She wanted only the best for you all. She worried if she was a good Mom. And during times of struggle your Mom always spoke with care, worry, but most of all love for you her children.  You were earthly blessed to have a Mom like her. Be inspired by your Mom, strive to be a good person, and don't ever give up on your dreams just keep going. I know your heartache is great right now and possibly always will be, just keep your Mom alive in your heart &  mind  for she is only physically gone. Take Care. My prayers are with you.
To the family: Tio, Tia, Nora, & Tammy I send my deepest condolences. I know these are times of great sadness look to God and each other for comfort.

Meldie you will forever be in my heart and thoughts. I don't remember you as a sad person, therefore I'm not gonna be. I'm happy your body and soul are whole again and that now you are free of pain. I don't feel like you are gone, I feel like you were reborn again through my daughter Marie Lee Garcia. You told me you give anything to save her life and help us you would and you did Meldie. Meldie wasn't only my sister, she was my best friend. I've messed her so much over the years. And although I didn't want to let her go, I am glad that she is whole again. I love you.
