Essie Lee Miller

Essie Lee Miller, 95, A retired school cafeteria lady at Thorton Elementary School in Arlington, Texas. She was a precious mom, grandmother, and great grandmother went to Heaven on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Arlington, Texas.

Mrs. Miller was born in Celeste, Texas on October 29, 1922. Her parents were James A. and Annie (Gillie) Scarbrough.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie G. Foster of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Steve Miller, Timothy Foster, and Jeffrey Foster; three great-grandchildren, Delaney, Hadlyn, and Harper Foster; and numerous relations, Wayne Foster, Linda Miller, Julie & Paul Swatek, Alice Beaty and Rocky Reid, Charles David Miller, Wayne and Sharon Kelly and children.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Miller; son, Albert Stanley Miller, brother, John Scarbrough, and sister, Lorene Kelly.

She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and told everyone about him. She loved her two children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren with all her heart.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
