Evelyn Anderson

Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home, followed by interment in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aarin Whitney McGuire Scholarship Fund, attn: Theresa Zimmerman, at Arlington High School, 818 W. Park Row, Arlington, Texas 76013.

Evelyn was born to Louise Terry and Luther Dewees on July 27, 1934. Evelyn lived the true meaning of "The Greatest of These Is Love." She loved her family more than her own life. She always made her husband, John "Andy" Anderson; her five children, Clinton, Nina, Cheryll, Shane and Vicki; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren feel as if they were her favorite. Evelyn was an example of one's heart always having plenty of room for love. She loved all the in-laws as much as her own children and grandchildren and had a deep love for all of her extended family.

Christmas was her absolutely favorite holiday and she had a giving spirit all year long. She was the "Hallmark Christmas Ornament Queen!"

Evelyn was met in heaven by Jesus and her granddaughter, Aarin.
