Evra was born on January 12, 1928 to Lenna Terry and Fred Eugene Simmons.
He and his wife Nancy of 41 years enjoyed dancing with Levis & Lace Club in Arlington and Sq. A's of Grand Prairie. He was a member of Good Sam's Camping Club of Grand Prairie and loved fishing in Colorado. He was employed at General Motors for 37 years and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Fred.
Survivors: his wife Nancy; daughter Debbie Foresburg (Howard); son Jeff Simmons (Lisa); step sons Richard Payne (Shirley) and Mike Payne (Kara); grandchildren Masson Simmons, Mark Foresburg, Matthew Foresburg (Stephanie), Erin Payne, Cody Payne, and Katy Payne; great-grandchildren Parker, Peyton and Lyric.
