Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens.
Frances was a longtime resident of Arlington. She was born July 19, 1925. Her mother and father were Nolen B. Cootes and Eunice Irene Whaley.
Frances waited almost 40 years to rejoin her beloved husband, George Henry Sims Jr., who preceded her in death.
Survivors: Son, Randy T. Sims and wife, Anita; granddaughter, Allie; son, Mark R. Sims; sisters, Lillian Navarre and Betty Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
