Francis Clifford Rosson

My Dad Francis Clifford Rosson passed away today December 12, 2019 at 4:05pm. He was born 12-05-1925 that made him 94 years old. He was married to Gracie Virginia Stidham from June 28, 1946 till her death on January 11, 2017 70 years of marriage. He was living independently until 5 weeks ago. In fact he drove himself to the barbershop two months ago because he couldn’t wait till the next day for me to do it. He was a bit stubborn that way. He passed away in bed asleep while we played his favorite country music on Pandora. He had a good long life and died in his sleep peacefully. He was a Navy Veteran of World war II from December 24, 1942 through February 1946. He served on the Battleship USS New Mexico during the war. He was ordained a Baptist Deacon on October 2, 1966 at Dumas Avenue Baptist church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He spent most of his time working on church administrative things, teaching and visiting church members. He and Gracie enjoyed traveling around the United States visiting places they had not seen. He had two sons Larry and Dwayne two grandsons Jason Rosson and Jeremy Rosson and a granddaughter Nicole Harold. He also had two great grandsons Colby Harold and Cooper Harold and two great granddaughters Ella Rosson and Jenna Rosson . He will be missed by his family
