He was a resident of Arlington, TX for 51 years. And loved his city. He attended every Arlington Fourth of July parade with his family. He was a very patriotic man, serving his country in the US Army, Navy and Coast Guard. He was a girls softball Coach for the City of Arlington for 10 years. He was also a boxing Coach for the Boys Club for many years. He was a coach and mentor to so many kids and was admired by so many. He was not only a coach to so many but also became a father/grandfather to many. Everyone whom met him always saw something special in him. He never turned down any child that needed help or advice. He was an avid fisherman. If he could have fished everyday, he would've been happy!! He was the best husband any woman could ask for. And as can be seen by the way he loved his wife Linda Mojica, for 59 years. And the best dad we could have ever asked for! He was always involved in all five of his children's activities. As well as all his grandchildren's activities. And he was so happy once his first great grandchildren Ava Grace arrived and couldn't spend enough time with her. We will all greatly miss this man who has taught us all how to always be our best, how to love deep, and to always love and put family first! And our family will continue living this way and continue remembering him each and every day! Dad/Grandpa we will miss you so much. But we know in our hearts the heavens have a great man/new angel up there now!!
