She worked as a Records Clerk for the Arlington Police Department for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lee Roy (Buck) Simpson; an infant son, Gerald and son Gayland Crockett.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pam Grooms and Leland Simpson, Derris Crockett and wife Sharon, Connie Parker and husband Loy and Daughter In Law Alice Crockett ; grandchildren, Crystal Grooms, Tiffannie Albert and husband Chase, Danielle Fransen and husband Gerry, Clint Parker and wife Lauren, Sharla Eddy and husband Steve, Adam Crockett and wife Pam, Barry Crockett and wife Brenda, great grandchildren, Courtney, Aisley, Corbin, Aubree, Haley, Hayden, Rhett
Funeral services will be 10:00am, Friday, September 1, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.
