Freda was born April 1, 1919, in Peach to Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Thompson. She married Raymond W. Holt Sept. 24, 1944.
Freda was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and Mansfield. She worked many years for WBAP Channel 5 and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. In 1998, she moved to Austin to be with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Freda was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Raymond.
Survivors: Daughter, Lore Clarke and husband, Chet, of Austin; grandchildren, Cade, Zac and Caroline Clarke of Austin; two sisters; two brothers; and many other loving family members and friends.
