Gary Fred Powers

Gary Fred Powers, 82, of Benbrook, Texas passed away peacefully on Sunday December 22, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Gary was born on Sunday August 16, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. Gary spent the majority of his life in Texas, raising a family and enjoying a long career in broadcast media and advertising.

Gary will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his loving spirit, kindness, and enthusiasm for life.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lynda Powers; his sons Scott (Laura) of Houston and Michael (Sonya) of Arlington; grandchildren Catherine, Benjamin, Ethan, William, and Reid; brother Paul (Michelle) Steer of Cleveland, Ohio, and his loving extended family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence Steer, grandparents, sister Lynne Humphrey and brother-in-law Terry Humphrey of Olean, New York.
