Gary Clyde Williams

Born in Pittston, Pennsylvania to Clyde and Edith Williams on November 13, 1927, Gary went on to live a fulfilled life with his wife and sons. He joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country as a fighter pilot. He went on to work as a metallurgist in the steel industry for 38 years.

Nothing brought him more joy than the love of his life, Martha Williams and his family. He loved spending time on the water sailing his boat. As members of the Arlington Yacht Club, Gary and his wife Martha spend years racing their sailboat. Sailing was the next best thing to flying, he would say. Gary also loved to serve others and he did so for many years while volunteering at the hospital.

Gary is survived by his wife Martha and sons Karl and Kevin.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Edith Williams and sister Audrey Them.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. The committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens.
