Gene is survived by his spouse, Lyn Nell Yeatts; daughter Holly Burch; and son Barry Yeatts; brother Glen Yeatts.
He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era.
A visitation for Gene will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 12:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. An interment will occur Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:15 PM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Dak Yeatts, Clay Gilliam, Wally Moon, Wade Moon, Trent Burch-Bowser, Tye Burch-Bowser, Preston Moon, Harold Osborn, Don Lunn and Dean Haher.
