People who never met the two of you ask me about "Geoff and Shelly". I tell them:
Geoff and Shelly have a love like people only wish they could have, you know the stuff fairy tales are made of. I tell them about the first time I met you both. The way you welcomed me into your home and your lives. Most of all I tell them about your motorcycle accident. That Geoff's love is truly what brought you back from a place that most docs didn't think you would ever return from. How he stood by you through every second of your journey back home. And thru 18yrs of marriage you two never left each others side and still looked at each other like newlyweds do. Amazing deep deep love! This insane accident never should of happened, I can't even begin to imagine what you are feeling. but now its time for you to stand with Geoff thru his beautiful new journey. Take comfort in knowing he will never leave your side... and neither will we. Look up in the sky on Christmas night, the brightest star you see will be Geoff. I love you sister with all my heart.
