GRAND PRAIRIE -- George W. Bishop, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: will be prior to the service at the funeral home.
George was born Nov. 13, 1921, in Scott County, Va.
Survivors: His wife of 68 years, Dorothy; his proud son, Gary Bishop; two granddaughters whom he cherished, Alicia Mueller and her husband, Richard, and Shona Baumgardner and her husband, Barry; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Max, Annie and James.
