

Gerald was born on September 21, 1960 in Seminole Texas to Darvin and JoAnn (Briggs) Mack of Hobbs New Mexico.
He graduated from Hobbs High School in 1978. He attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University, in Waxahachie Texas.
On September 10, 2011 Gerald married the love of his life, Robin (Terry) Mack. He was employed as a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver for R & L Carriers and a resident of Arlington Texas. He was an avid bowler and belonged to a local bowling league. He attended the Church on Rush Creek. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and man of God. He would sacrifice his time to help anyone who needed help. Gerald and Robin enjoyed entertaining guests at their home that they had spent time remodeling.
Gerald exemplified the characteristics of courage, wisdom, and faith in God. He had the courage to face disapproval, persecution, fear, failure and even death with a genuine manliness.
Gerald is survived by his spouse, Robin (Terry) Mack of Arlington, Texas; his parents, Darvin and JoAnn (Briggs) Mack of Hobbs, New Mexico; his siblings, Keith Mack of Arlington, Texas, Bevra (Mack) Carruth and husband Monte Carruth of Austin, Texas, Deon (Mack) Serotko and husband John Serotko of Corsicana Texas; his two children, Kym (Mack) Thomas and spouse Shawn Thomas, and Kelli (Mack) Whicker and spouse Kenny Whicker; his grandchildren, Jared, Parker, Gaige, and Demi Thomas, and Cannon and Crew Whicker; his nephews, Andrew Mack, Aaron Mack, Austin Mack, and Joshua Carruth; and his niece, Celeste Carruth.
