

Jeri was born on December 30, 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska to Eugene and Geraldine (Clinkenbeard) Rehnquist. He attended West High School in Nebraska and Santa Ana Jr. College in California.
Jeri was a firefighter in the Navy, worked as a bartender during college, worked at Ralph’s as a butcher for 14 years and was a carpenter until he retired in 2004 in a construction business his dad and brother started.
Jeri was crazy about sports; especially football, when he wasn’t spending time with family having a cookout, he was watching sports. Speaking of football, we must mention that while in junior college he played center for Santa Ana Jr. College which they were Jr. Rose Bowl champs both years.
Jeri was preceded in death by his father, Eugene and his mother, Geraldine; mother-in-law, Dora Flowers (Burns), uncle, nephew and aunt. He is survived by his wife, Gloria and brother Rex Rehnquist and wife Carol. He had two children Ron Rehnquist of Anaheim Hills, CA and Gene Rehnquist of Placentia, CA from his first marriage with Frances (Smylski)). He had 4 stepchildren Thomas “Tony” Carey of Burleson, TX, Todd Carey of Burleson, TX and Gina Witt (Colfry) and husband Dub of Nemo, TX. From this loving family Jeri had 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
