Sad to hear you passed my lady. I have fond memories of having known you, even though so long ago. Wished I could have said goodbye. Any time I hear the song "I'm A Believer", I still think of you. Rest in peace girlfriend.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Glenda. She and I worked together at Eisenhower Elementary. Later, she followed me as the principal at Powell. I was so proud of her work and felt so assured that the school would be in good hands when I left. She was a talented professional and sweet individual. She made a difference. Mike Mattingly

To my entire Family: Uncle Ralph, Bill, Mike, Tiffany, Camber and the rest of the clan there in Texas. I am so sorry that Glenda did not win this battle with Cancer. She has gone on to be with the Lord and Aunt Camille. I know she is smiling being with her Mom again. I wish I could have been there. I wish we lived closer together. The 2 T's (TX and TN) are too far away from each other. Glenda was awesome. She was loved by everyone. I know she was a wonderul teacher/principal, etc I hope when I get my teaching degree that I am as good a teacher as Glenda was. I think the whole town loved her.  I love you all and hope to see you soon.

My memories of Glenda are of a very sweet and beautiful person.  From our long ago days as students in the Grand Prairie schools and as a Pecan Acres neighbor, Glenda was always nice to me; I've never forgotten.  My thoughts and prayers go with you in your difficult time.

The wonderful "Mrs. Eitle" was an exceptional educator, talented administrator and, most importantly, incredibly motivating to her students. I gladly served as PTA President while Glenda was the principal at Powell Elementary. She cared deeply for every student, and they returned to favor. Rest in peace, Glenda, knowing you positively changed the lives of thousands of children. We will miss you.

Dear Chuck, Tiffanie and Camber,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Glenda was my oldest friend, since we had known each other since our toddler days in Sunday school at Fairview Baptist Church.  I loved her dearly and treasured her friendship.  Glenda was both beautiful and smart, and she was absolutely the sweetest person I knew.  I never remember her saying anything bad about anyone at all.  She was fun to be around and very caring of others, and she loved her family above all.  I know it is going to be hard for you all to cope with her being gone, and I hope you can work through the pain soon.  Know that she will be remembered with great love.
