

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home followed by interment in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Greg was born February 14, 1960, in Cameron, Missouri, and lived most of his life in and around Arlington and Abilene. Greg was the father of Jennifer Jurrius, Gretchen Guesner and Gina Guesner of Fort Worth, Bryson Gregory of Abilene and Greyson Guesner of Joshua, along with two grandchildren who called him Papi, Gabriel Guesner and Devany Guesner, both of Fort Worth.
Greg was a lifelong friend to many from as young as grade school and treated most friends as his family and was often talked about as giving the shirt from his back to anyone who needed him. He was an Eagle Scout, a Ball mechanic and loved racing cars and riding motorcycles. His smile and laughter were always the first and last things that greeted you; he loved to make people laugh.
Greg was preceded in death by his two fathers, William R. Guesner of Camden, Arkansas, and stepfather, G. Weldon Kirby of Lometa, Texas
Survivors: Greg is survived by his mother, Margie Guesner Kirby of Granbury, and also by Sherry Gunyon and Jennifer Herrera. He had six siblings, Gayle Proctor, Ginger King, Vickie Speck, Kimberly Becker, Arthur Kirby and Jimmy Kirby. He is also survived by two grandmothers, Bertye Guesner and Velma Polk. Greg shared his life with a large pool of in-laws, international siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted strangers, whom he held dear and near.
