Griselda Torres-Garza

Griselda Torres Garza passed away peacefully the morning of June 27th, 2023, after a rapid decline in health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. She was born in Matamoros, MX on Sept 18, 1961, but has been in the DFW Metroplex since the early 1990s where she raised her 3 children and our stepsister who she loved as her own. The most important thing to Griselda was her family and her grandkids, they were her pride and joy. She was such a beautiful soul, and her smile could light up an entire room. She will be missed immensely and will continue to live in our memories and in our hearts until we meet again.

Griselda is survived by her children, Pedro Gomez, Jesus Gomez, Perla Gomez and Monica Garza. 10 grandchildren, Anthony Gomez, JR Gomez, Kristina Gomez, Hayden Gomez, Triston Gomez, Adrian Rea, Andrew Rea, Alexander Rea, Cameron Webb and Kayden Webb. Also survived by her sister Maria Guadalupe Torres and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on July 8th at 11:00 am at Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. The family kindly requests that guests wear the color white for the memorial service.
