He served six years and three tours in Vietnam. Achieving the rank Petty Officer second class in the U.S. Navy. He was a proud member of the NRA, and retired from Lockheed Martin in 1994.
Nick is predeceased by his parents, Giles and Sara Nickerson, his sister, Gail, wife, Donna Peyton Nickerson.
Nick is survived by three nieces; Melissa Johnson and husband Daryl, Heather Gibbins and husband Olin, Megan Goodwin and husband, Grant, stepdaughter; Teri Stout and husband, Joe, three grand children, and nine great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday March 15, 2012 at Moore Memorial Gardens.
