Gwen was born on June 8, 1938 to David and Mildred Bevan in Houston.
She was a graduate of UT Arlington she worked for Harris Hospital and later as a teacher.
Gwen was a member of Aldersgate UMC of Arlington where she taught
ESL classes for several years as her ministry. Visitation: Moore Funeral Home, Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services: Aldersgate UMC, 2201 E. Park Row, Friday at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and son, Rick. Survivors: daughter, Cynthia; son, Steve and wife, Nancy,
son, David and wife, Melissa; sister, Glenna Fowler; uncle, Jerry Becka;
six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her extended family; and many friends.
