Harold Newton Loyd passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 84. Harold was born in Webb, Texas, resided in Arlington, Texas and served honorably in the United States Army. Harold was married to the love of his life and his best friend, Mildred, for 53 years. Harold was employed by Bell Helicopters for 40 years and recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of his retirement.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mildred Gordineer Loyd, his sons, Johnny and Jimmy Loyd; his sister, Leatrice Skinner. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, the late Robert S. Loyd and Cordie Sprinkle and his brothers, the late Buddy and Marion Loyd.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services. Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5 PM until 8 PM with funeral services being held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 1 PM. A Committal Service will follow at Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington at 3 PM.
