Harriet graduated from Moss Point High School in Moss Point, Mississippi before receiving an associate's degree from Perkinston Junior College. She was married to Kent Coffey on December 24, 1961. Harriet worked for American Financial Corporation.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Lucile Strickler; her sisters, Carol Strickler and Connie Strickler Warnol; and her son, Byron Kent Coffey. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kent Coffey; her sons: Thomas Coffey, Steven Coffey (Tina), and Geoffrey Coffey; her grandchildren: Luke Coffey (Ansley), Clark Coffey, Avery Coffey, and Eliot Coffey; and her siblings: Joyce Strickler Huffman, Mary Ann Stricker Skaggs, Emma Jean Strickler Mesko, all of Rolla, Missouri.
A visitation for Harriet will be held from 9:00-11:00am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the North Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012. A funeral service will occur at 11:00am in the North Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
Burial will immediately follow the funeral service in Moore Memorial Gardens.
