Hazel J. Ford Laney was born in Center on April 21, 1922. She retired from Southwestern Bell. She was a member of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by husband, Gerald Laney; mother, Gussie Johnson; father, Andrew Johnson; brother, Roy Johnson; sister, Bazel Delay; son, Chester Ford; daughter, Faye Long; granddaughter Jaclyn Givens; and great-grandsons, Joseph and Timothy.
Survivors: She is survived by daughter, Brenda Gordon (Don); stepdaughter, Karen Osburne; grandchildren, Donny Gordon (Christy), Jaime Peace Stevens(Loren), Jimmy Bergin(Nicole), Teresa Hurd (Mike), Tina Price(Duane), Ted Ford, Tabitha Crocker (Rod), Curtis Dale Zachary, Janette Long, Curtis Osburne (Jordan); 16 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother;Troy Johnson(Helen)and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
